A furry mammal. The rabbit is an animal of pray; therefor it needs to breed quickly, but has fragile health. The rabbit used to be eaten often in The Netherlands, but now it is mostly only a meal for Christmas. It is often kept as a pet animal. Because of its sweet appearance it is an animal that is easily loved. And maybe because of this sweet appearance, combined with its strong urge to procreate, it is often used as a symbol for sexuality (think about the Playboy bunny).
It is a quite domesticated animal. My first encounter with death was the death of my pet rabbit.
